Intrapay is a division of The Scotney Group, focused on the provision of integrated e-commerce transaction facilitation services to the Mining, Defence, University, Health, Corporate and Government sectors.
In 2005, the Scotney Group was formed when the founders saw an opportunity to combine their skills to develop unique solutions in the IT industry. The vision was to change the way that transactions were processed in closed-loop sites.
The first service developed was FlexiMeals - an integrated online meal ordering and card payment system - that connected directly to payroll systems, allowing employees to access meals at work and pay automatically via salary adjustments. FlexiMeals quickly gained popularity and was introduced into some of the country's largest organisations, including IAG, Ernst & Young, Goldman Sachs, Macquarie Bank and ING Direct. The service has been particularly popular in the manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries where cash is banned from production areas. FlexiMeals continued to grow nationally and service companies such as ResMed, Uncle Toby's, Mars, Wrigleys and Paccar. FlexiMeals also found a market in university residential colleges controlling and monitoring the collection of meals in dining halls, including those at University of New England, Newcastle Uni and the NSW Police Academy.
In 2008, The Scotney Group developed FlexiSchools, which applied similar technology to servicing the needs to schools and parent associations. The service quickly grew nationally to encompass hundreds of schools and by 2010 had processed a million orders and won several awards.
In 2012, it was recognised that the brand "FlexiMeals" was now too limited to describe the wide range of services and applications which can be run on the platform such as bookings and activity tracking. The name Intrapay clearly articulates our ability to integrate with the customer, service providers and the banking systems to create a truly cashless environment
